Their technology use is also impressive - it isn't like getting orthodontic work back in the day! Overall, a wonderful experience.

Dr. Spencer and his office staff provide myself and my children the best experience I have ever had at an orthodontist office. His office staff were genuinely kind, helpful and pleasant to speak with. Dr. Spencer did an incredible job explaining his thoughts regarding treatment for two of my girls. By the time I left the office, I had a very clear understanding of what to expect moving forward and a very affordable finance plan. I was very pleased and look forward to working this office.

We’re visiting from out of town, and they were willing to fix a wire in my son’s braces. The staff was super friendly, and the facility was really nice. The first orthodontist we called said they only see their own patients, so I was especially appreciative of Up North’s willingness to see us! What a great business!

Over the Memorial Day weekend my wife and I traveled to Boston to visit our son and daughter in law. We were met there by our daughter and our 7 year old granddaughter. At the end of our fun filled time in Boston we were going to take our granddaughter with us to Traverse City for her 7 week exciting summer vacation with Papa and Grammy. Our daughter was to return to Texas the day we were to leave Boston. That morning our Granddaughter’s expander came loose and we thought we would have to change our plans and she would have to return to Texas with her mother. We decided to call Up North Orthodontics to see if they might see her. Danielle was so pleasant and understanding. She arranged for my wife and I to bring our granddaughter in the very next day. We were thrilled that our plans to bring our granddaughter to Traverse City was not spoiled. We went on to fly back to Traverse City with our granddaughter. The next day at our scheduled appointment we were greeted at the front desk with a warm smile and very professional service. Dr. Spencer and his staff were wonderful. They made our granddaughter feel so very comfortable. They were so nice to her through her entire visit. My wife and I were amazed at how professional the staff was and how nicely we were treated. My wife and I were worried about adjusting the expander. We had never had to do anything like this in the past. The staff took extra time showing us how to use the expander tool and they actually had us practice using the tool. I was also very grateful at the very affordable price they charged us for their service. On our way out we were told that if there were any other issues please feel free to call them for another visit. Just a short time after our visit our granddaughter was back to normal with no more discomfort. My wife and I highly recommend up North Orthodontics to you.

My daughter has been coming to Dr. Spencer for about 5 years and we love him. The entire staff is amazing and kind and patient which I absolutely love. One of the ladies in the office even remembered me from when I had braces probably about 20 years ago. I’ve been incredibly happy with Dr. Crouch and the entire team at Up North Orthodontics. When I first began exploring orthodontic care for my daughter a few years ago, I was advised to consult with two different orthodontists and go with the one we felt most comfortable with. I chose two offices at random, and both recommended lengthy, complex treatment plans that left me feeling overwhelmed and uncertain.

After sharing my concerns with friends, several recommended Dr. Crouch—so we scheduled a third opinion. From the moment we walked in, we felt at ease. The staff was welcoming, and Dr. Crouch spoke directly to my daughter in a way that was calm, clear, and kind. He took his time explaining the plan and made sure we both felt comfortable moving forward.

The entire staff has been exceptional. They’ve gone above and beyond more than once—sending my daughter a postcard after a local theater performance and staying late one evening when she needed some reassurance after getting her braces.

I made an appointment here to repair some ortho work i had done years ago at a now retired orthodontist. I came in for the initial appointment and everybody greeted me with a smile. They took x-rays, just like they would any new patient they take on. Then Dr. Crouch came in and talked with me about a plan to fix my broken wire. I assumed I would have to come back at a later date to get the wire adhered back on. He told me he could fix it same day, in about 45 minutes. No more than 5 minutes later, they came to get me to have the wire repaired. The entire experience was by far one of the best I’ve had. I’ll definitely recommend them to everyone I know.

Dr. Spencer Crouch is awesome, both with kids and adults with questions. I loved that he approached our daughter’s case with care and didn’t jump at the chance to put her in braces but waited until the timing was best for her not to be in braces unnecessarily long. While being in braces is probably not everyone’s favorite thing, the experience was quite well managed. The staff are all incredible and answer questions and do a great job explaining what is going on and how the process works. I highly recommend this office without any hesitation!

Very impressed by Dr. Spencer, his staff, and the office. We can in for adult braces consult. It is so nice that they do a free consultation, including x-ray and pictures. There was no pressure, but it was very informative and thorough. Dr. Spencer was so friendly. He made us feel confident in the treatment plan and recommendations he offered. We are looking forward to working with his office for braces. They gave a transparent breakdown of costs, and the 0% interest financing plan is so helpful. His office is gorgeous as well. Very professional and modern.
