I am beyond impressed with this office and the wonderful staff! If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I came in with a small issue today and they were able to fit me in to get everything fixed for me. They were very helpful and I would highly recommend!

I would give 10 stars if I could! I had taken my 7-year-old son to another orthodontist, but was not pleased with how one of the doctors treated my son. After doing a lot of research and hearing very positive things about Dr. Spencer and his team, I decided to try Up North Orthodontics. I was impressed even from the very first phone call. When we walked in for our first appointment, the staff was very welcoming and greeted my son like he was one of their own. Hannah was amazing with him while taking the images they needed, and when Dr. Spencer came in, he was also very warm and welcoming with my son. Everything was explained thoroughly and my questions were answered very respectfully. This experience was 100% better than the one we had at the other office. I am so glad we found Up North Orthodontics! Thank you for creating such a fantastic environment for kids and parents alike!

Up North Orthodontics was a great experience. They made my daughter feel very comfortable from the time we walked in until we left. Greeting her with a friendly smile, taking the time to explain everything that was to be done that day and making the appt seamless. I am so impressed with Up North Orthodontics. We were vacationing near Traverse City when my son had an issue with his braces that was causing pain and discomfort. A HUGE THANK YOU to Up North Orthodonics for helping my daughter today with her wire! We are on our family vacation and over 4 hours away from home, but UpNorth Orthodontics came to the rescue! I called and they were able to get her into their office in just a few short hours! Everyone was so nice and friendly! The office was very clean and cute as well! Within a few minutes of being in the chair they were able to fix my daughters wire, give me ideas of how to help her if it happened again, and also invited us back if anything happened again while we were on vacation. And unbelievably they didn’t even charge us!!! So incredibly KIND! Thank you Up North Orthodontics we will definitely recommend you to anyone who is in the Traverse City area!

We use an orthodontist in Grand Rapids, MI but needed help with braces while in Traverse City. Up North Orthodontist got us in within 30 minutes! They were also wonderfully kind and extremely knowledgeable!

Recently had a complimentary consultation regarding questions and concerns about my 8 year olds orthodontic treatment from another provider. Our family feels a bit of relief after the conversation with Dr. Spencer and his team. We got well informed by the step to step process for the necessary procedures that needed to take place for our young daughter. She requires some teeth extraction for some that haven't poked out yet. As a parent, we were a bit worried, since she is very young. Much gratitude to Dr. Spencer and the UpNorth team for their time. My daughter has been coming to Dr. Spencer for about 5 years and we love him. The entire staff is amazing and kind and patient which I absolutely love. One of the ladies in the office even remembered me from when I had braces probably about 20 years ago. Overall an amazing place and have recommended them several times and will do so over and over again!

Our family loves this place! The staff couldn’t be kinder. My son has anxiety going to the dentist but walked out of this place loving it. I was referred by my DDS for a consult, and was impressed with every aspect of this practice. The office is lovely, the process is highly organized, the staff is well trained and very patient centric and Dr. Spencer was kind, patient and provided excellent explanations for the options he gave. My own background is in healthcare and a for a time, practice administration, and I am not usually too impressed with offices I am referred to. However, Up North Orthodontics is a very impressive practice and I would highly recommend it.
